How to create a KSeF certificate?

For your convenience, we have prepared a video instruction with a step-by-step description of the process. Below you will also find a detailed text version of the instruction, which you can use as reference material.

Step 1. System login.
Go to https://ap.ksef.mf.gov.pl/web/. Select zaloguj profilem zaufanym (log in with trusted profile). Next, enter your company's NIP number. Click Uwierzytelnij (Authenticate).

Step 2. Signing.
Click Podpisz (Sign). Select the signing method. Typically, Profil Zaufany (Trusted Profile). Then enter your login credentials and confirm the signing.

Step 3. Navigate to certificates section.
Go to the Certyfikaty (Certificates) section. Select Wnioskuj o certyfikat (Request a certificate).

Step 4. Creating the certificate.
Create a name for this certificate. It can be anything and serves for convenience when you have multiple certificates.
Next, create and repeat a password.
You must remember it, as it will be necessary for further authorization.
Click Generuj (Generate).

Step 5. Certificate purpose.
In the Przeznaczenie certyfikatu (Certificate Purpose) section, select Uwierzytelnienie w systemie KSeF (Authentication in the KSeF system).
Then select the date from which it will be active.
Please note: the certificate is valid for 2 years.

Step 6. Saving files.
After the application is successfully processed, YOU MUST save the received files by selecting Pobierz certyfikat (Download certificate).
Important: After leaving the page, you will not be able to download the files again. You will need them for authorization.

Done! The certificate has been created and saved.
