What invoice issuance modes will be available in KSeF 2.0?

The system provides two main modes for issuing invoices: online mode and offline mode.

Online mode

This is the primary operating mode, consisting of issuing invoices in KSeF in real time.

Offline mode

Offline mode includes three separate special procedures adapted to different situations.

• The first is offline24 mode, which allows issuing an invoice without a connection to KSeF, provided that it is submitted to the system no later than the next business day. This solution can be used, for example, in case of temporary internet problems, as well as in situations where such limitations do not occur.

• The second procedure is offline mode, applied when the Ministry of Finance is conducting maintenance work and the system is unavailable. In such cases, invoices can be issued offline and then submitted to KSeF no later than the day following the end of the maintenance period.

• The third procedure is emergency mode, which applies in the event of a KSeF failure announced in the Public Information Bulletin of the Ministry of Finance and in the interface software. In this situation, invoices are issued offline, and seven business days from the end of the failure are allowed for their submission to the system.

Each mode is subject to separate rules, however in all cases the most important thing is that the invoice ultimately reaches the system.
