How to prepare a vacation?

The leave must be continuous, i.e., granted to the full extent to which the employee is entitled.

Leave can be divided into parts only at the request of the employee. However, at least one part must last at least 14 consecutive calendar days. An employee may request a split leave in any form.

The leave must be granted in accordance with the leave schedule established by the employer, taking into account the employee's requests and the need to ensure the normal course of work. The provisions of the Vacation Law also allow for a waiver of the vacation schedule under certain circumstances.

An employer who has waived the preparation of a vacation schedule shall determine the date of the vacation after consultation with employees, taking into account their requests and the need to ensure the normal course of work.

There is no model document in the provisions of the Vacation Law. It is drawn up in any form.

The regulations on employee records stipulate the obligation to keep all documents related to the request and use of vacation leave, along with documentation related to the employment relationship.
