Paying taxes. What if the 20th falls on a weekend or public holiday?

In cases where the deadline for payment of tax (the 20th of each month) falls on a holiday, including a public holiday, the due date will be postponed to the next following working day.

For example: if the 20th falls on a Saturday, the due date will fall on the 22nd Monday.

This rule is enshrined in the «Ordynacji podatkowej» (Tax Code).
